Dear Parents,
Just a few quick reminders of some important dates throughout Term 2.
The Camp Fun Run is this Friday. It begins at 1.30pm and will go for approximately 45mins-1 hour. If there are any parents that would like to help volunteer on the day stickering/stamping children from our class as they complete the laps, could you please let me know ASAP via email or in person.
Pupil Free Day is in week 5 (Monday the 23rd of May) as we have a Staff Professional Development day.
Year 1P Performance Assembly will be moved from week 4 due to the Year 5/6 children being on camp so will now be scheduled for Friday 27th May. Please put this date in your diaries as we would love to show you some of the learning we have been doing this year.
The Public Holiday WA Day will be on Monday Week 7 (June 6th) so there will be no school on this day also.
Grandparents day will be on Wednesday the 29th of June. We would love to see as many Grandparents at school as possible as it is always a very special time for them to share with their grandchildren. More information will be given closer to the date but please write this date down in your diary!
The parent roster has gone up outside our classroom this week and we would love to see you for our Literacy block!
We are also trying to get our Food Garden up and running however, it needs a de-clutter and a clean up so if any parents have a green thumb that would like to help out, we would love to have you on board. Please email me or see me personally if you are able to help out with this wonderful community project!
